#location : Starbucks, City Mall, Kota Kinabalu

I overheard the conversation of a 30++ year old uncle...asking a young teenage girl...Eh,, you got facebook ah?? you got gmail???

Oh my...I'm surprised with the advancement of our people...hahaa...

The "Daily Express"

These few days have been slow and good.

We have been eating and eating (good food).

Jin and I conquered 20 pcs of fried dumplings, grilled squid and grilled fish yesterday night. IT WAS SO GOOD.

We browsed through the photo albums and I found out my Edison Chen look like my dad when he is younger. My mom wore higher heels than I do. *white flag*

We were watching live service this morning and thanks to S.E.B. (SABAH ELECTRICITY BERHAD), Pastor Tan had no choice but to stop preaching due to power failure. *white flag*

We are at Starbucks City Mall to connect to the world.

BTW, I salute to TELEKOM because they suka suka server down. So what if you have subscribed steamyx with 247-365 connection because they really suka suka server down.

We are going for a family dinner later to celebrate my dad's birthday in advance.

Enjoying the last three days of my home vacation.

Baby, Now That I've Found You

Love this song. ;)

Performed by Alison Krauss & Union Station (from promotional single for the album and DVD by the name "Alison Krauss + Union Station - Live")

Life Lesson

After a series of tough and priceless lessons I learn throughout the bible school, I constantly remind myself:

1. Not to take love for granted
2. Not to take love for granted
3. Not to take love for granted

Because:

1. I've seen wonderful people came into my life but the relationship didn't last because I took love for granted.
2. I tried to save the relationship, but, maybe I was too late to realize what was the problem. Ultimately, it takes two hands to clap.
3. I personally understand when the love offered is taken for granted. It didn't piss me off. But rather it hurts.

I cannot imagine a day without God.
Without Jesus, I cannot love.

I wish I am less upset than this.

It is ridiculous.

Things I HATE for God's sake.

1. Finding excuses for not achieving something because they are busy.
2. The truth is that they are lazy.
3. Self righteous. In the end they will just throw you a big book theory of servanthood.
4. Always "trying" to do something. In fact, it is a just loud noise of not doing something.

Thinking what food to smuggle into the hospital.

Day 2

Chris dropped me to the hospital on his way to church wide prayer meeting. With all my heart, thank you.

I got Jin a pizza since he is craving for it. Poor thing. I think he is feeling sick of being sick. Pray that you will discharge soon. :(

Anyway, the blood count was decreasing. Doctor said just have to wait and monitor. That's all.

Jin's classmates were very nice. Almost all of them came and visit him, brought him magazines, took his school bags from the car for him. Without them, Jin can only be listening to the musical snoring sound from his neighbor.

Thank you to our dear friends for visiting and helping us during this time. I am Thank you Karyn, Tom, Sean and Li Li.

Thanks for the SMSes and prayers.

This Time Last Year

Do you still remember what happened this time last year?

;)

It was the cell group multiplication day for E9 and the birth day of E20.

I was very surprised and impressed. Many of you guys were involved in from the start till the end of the meeting. And I reckon a lot of preparation work done days and nights before the meeting. There were song writing and presentation, there were sharing of testimony, happy praise songs, dynamic preaching, and touching slide presentation. And it was Sharon's birthday too.

Time flies. We have been together for one year... And I've seen that we all have grown too.

Thank you for giving your best support and excitement on our first humble meeting.
Thank you for singing "Destiny" with all your heart.
Thank you for worshiping God together with me.
Thank you for giving me an opportunity to know you guys.
Thank you for all your understanding.
Thank you for loving me even though I know it is difficult sometimes.
Thank you for being there for me when I am sick and sad.
Thank you for listening to my jokes and making me feel good about my jokes.
Thank you for making this place "home".
Thank you for your love and care.
Thank you for all your sincere love and generosity.
Thank you for giving your best in assisting me.
Thank you for being attentive when I speak.
Thank you for showing me that you are trying your best.
Thank you for your willingness to step out.
Thank you for allowing me to be part of your life story.
Thank you for forgiving me when I did something hurtful.
Thank you for building this trust together.
Thank you for believing in me.
Thank you for giving me an opportunity to walk with you in this journey of faith.
Thank you for appreciating things I've done.
Thank you for the surprises and thoughtful birthday cake.
Thank you for being your faithfulness.
Thank you for helping me drawing close to Jesus.
Thank you for letting me know that it is not about me but you.
Thank you for helping me to experience selfless love.
Thank you for all your friendship. I am very very honored.

I love you all.

Happy one year anniversary to E20. You guys rock !

A success material

The church is having Pat Mesiti for the weekend services till this Tuesday night, teaching on biblical economics, how we should be the top and not beneath in the marketplace.

Passion will lead you to success. And along the road to success, there must be an element of commitment to growth, focus, etc

I was reminded of the phrase that Pastor mentioned, "The head, the heart and the pocket".
Many Christians claimed themselves to have big heart, but the head is empty.
Some have the head and heart, but pocket is still empty.
That is so sad.

I must agree that Christians should be the head and not the tail. However, I'm seeing it everyday people can literally take this to their heart and yet they are not doing anything about it. What makes you think that just by knowing it and claim yourselves to be successful, will not lead you to success someday?

I agree the success starts in the mind, but we do need to work towards success.

What is success to you?

A goal? A dream? Or a state of life? Nobody can bring anything away from the world to heaven. Poverty mindset keeps us away from success.

What are you doing towards "success"?

When was the last time you did the something for the first time? -- Pat Mesiti

Are you merely following instructions? Or do we TRULY understand why and what need to be done?

How do you see a problem? Are we able to recognize a problem or unconsciously we are living as a victim of the effect of a problem? Even so if you know about it, what will you do about it?

Today, I approached a question, with a question. I do not know if I should do it.. But I sincerely hope that it is the best for both of us.

We are ought to be a good steward of our life. Even if your life is worth 2 talents, don't bury it to the graveyard.

How many cycles of 20 years then will us choose to realize that the decision we made was not wise?

Don't be a fool. Don't be a scorner. Choose life. Seek wisdom.

We should plan for our life. And God will direct our paths.

jazzy weekend

The boyfriend agreed that it is an investment to get CDs. I got myself a 4-CDs colletion of Jazz music from the Rock Corner in OneU.

Oh did I mention that I would like to have bookstore vouchers or CDs for my birthday?
Haha too early??

Anyway, I have some really-got-to-do-list:

1. Hair Cut
2. WEIGHT CONTROL
3. Registration of license
4. Strong determination
5. Bigger heart

Thank you.

Today when I was talking to God, He made me realize that everyday is a journey with the Holy Spirit. With every choices and decision made, God is always there whenever I needed Him the most. The best thing is, He made me see that, He is faithful. My God is good. Thank you. Thank you.

Good night. I have a long Sunday tomorrow. Pray for wisdom. Good night all.

March Happenings

I went to KLCC after work yesterday and got Kelly to accompany me for my shopping. We did quite OK, after birthday gift shopping, we stayed in Isetan almost for 2 hours. We have decided to have a fast on buying new working attire (because this is our second time shopping together for working attire within 2 months). So we will NOT buy anymore until July 7, 2008.

I got someone a gift and only noticed the what's on the receipt this morning.

DSC00171ab

Look. I am the VIP of the boutique. And they recorded my name as LFY (which stands for Local Female Young).

I wished JYJL happy birthday 2 hours before his first day of Bday gone... Haha. It is funny that sometimes we just don't want to grow up. But thank God for life, thank God for growth. It is amazing to see baby grows in 6 weeks. Anyway, I secretly pray that JYJL has a peaceful birthday. No sabo, No funny surprises. Oh I pray. :P

I called Kar Wai to check if he is fasting and found out he is in Asia Cafe with 3 other guys. He had no solid food - purely drinks after his mcD dinner....HAHHA.

I wished Wai Sin happy birthday and surprised to receive almost instant reply from her. I thought nowadays school is very canggih that we can smuggle in phones (which last time we have to smuggle our liquid paper lorr). But then I found out that it is a holiday for school today because tomorrow is election day. Wahhh, so nice. Compared to my school last time, we always pray for heavy rain so that school can declare holiday just in case of flood...

I made Jin said "I love you" in the artist room. NYAHAHAH.

They will call these "Random"

Random: this word is created by Albert Einstein, Kar Wai Choong whom

claimed himself sleep as much as Mr E....

(e.g. yerr, so random; why you so random one??)

So my suggestion is to fast and pray.

He fast - fast on going out for supper/yamcha/clubbing.

We pray - pray for stephen fung to look more and more like him.

Haha I love you ok Kar Wai. I really do.

Dare You To Move

I got the lyrics. And I watched it on youtube. The MTV can be a good ponder over life, friendship. What are you going to do, where are you going to?

Watch the movie here.
(Or click on the PLAY button below).

Lyrics:

Welcome to the planet
Welcome to existence
Everyone's here
Everyone's here
Everybody's watching you now
Everybody waits for you now
What happens next?
What happens next?

I dare you to move
I dare you to move
I dare you to lift yourself up off the floor
I dare you to move
I dare you to move
Like today never happened
Today never happened before

Welcome to the fallout
Welcome to resistance
The tension is here
The tension is here
Between who you are and who you could be
Between how it is and how it should be

I dare you to move
I dare you to move
I dare you to lift yourself up off the floor
I dare you to move
I dare you to move
Like today never happened
Today never happened

Maybe redemption has stories to tell
Maybe forgiveness is right where you fell
Where can you run to escape from yourself?
Where you gonna go?
Where you gonna go?
Salvation is here

I dare you to move
I dare you to move
I dare you to lift yourself up off the floor
I dare you to move
I dare you to move
Like today never happened
Today never happened
Today never happened
Today never happened before
Acoustic live version:

The last one. Enjoy!

Where you gonna go?

On the first day of March

When results do not reflect the efforts involved,
it could be the methods used that makes it ineffective;
or it could be a signal hinting that I have been focusing on the wrong thing;
it may not be worth while pursuing it.
I don't know. A little stumbled.

What is your mission statement of your life?

9 more months left in 2008.

I like this.

"Nowadays there are more parrots than owls."

Quoted from the parables by the boyfriend.
