Last Friday of 2007

We had an appreciation dinner at my house instead of having cell group meeting tonight. It was a very solid steamboat dinner with mostly meat and require minimal cleaning work. Isn't that thoughtful? I think Mr Choong and his crew has done a wonderful job. Seriously, I thank you all and I heart you all.

Christmas was over. I have yet to upload the photos because I don't have all of them with me and also it requires effort and determination to go through the photos and upload...if you know what I mean.

Anyway, back to the dinner. I think it was good. We had fun. We had food. We talked. Glad to have KW's sister to join us for the dinner. We are overloaded with fish balls and sausages. Dinner ended with JCo donuts as our desserts. We had some IQ questions and sembang-sembang session.

I thank God for the friends that He has put into my life. I love counting the days that we know each other and without you guys, my life is less laughter, less jokes, less color, less memories and less flavor!

I thank God for wonderful and faithful friends: KW, KH, Yvonne. I really love you all.

I love this cell group. If you are looking for sincere love and genuine friendship, this is the place where I personally experience from them. You helped me to become a better person. You made me feel loved. You are God given gifts to me. Thank you.

Thank God for understanding that I received throughout the year ever since I come back from bible school. This year is a remarkable year to me where I learn to cherish friendship, pursue love whole heartedly.

yellow, red or purple?

OK. I must admit that the next few posts I wanted to write is a wrap up of christmas 2007 - the people, the kefira show, the fellowship, the pressies, etc.

BUT then oh...

It is sad to say that I have been repeating my problems at least 5 times to different personnel I talked to the 012-company. It was a long story on how I did not get to view my bill statement from my online account (And this is the second time I encounter this problem for a different reason). So, trying to be very understanding about how customer service works in different organization, I politely repeat my problems before they ask me (according to their flowchart) because if I followed their way, I am going to repeat my story anyway...

Sigh. I don't know how to tell you lar...

As a conclusion, they promised to email me my latest bill statement an hour ago. And I have been clicking the refresh button ever since I come back from my lunch break.

Keep waiting...

Keep believing...

Keep hoping...

Let's pray.

Christmas 2007

Last year, we called our moms on how to fry calamari during our Christmas dinner. Today, I called my mom again to ask her how to cook curry chicken.

Yes. It started with an intention to cook for darling but we guess it is more fun to have a Christmas Big Dinner. Decision was only made at 3pm so we had few special guests to join us for the dinner.

What's on the Menu: (Best to Worst Taste)
***** Herbal Chicken Soup
**** Deep Fried Calamari "Fillet"
*** Scrambled Eggs (with a lot of onions)
** Curry Chicken (very Indian kind...)
* Super Tasteless Fried Kai Lan

Desserts:

: Peach+Longan
: Honey Jelly

The honored guests were very kind and they brought a bottle of wine. We had it as punishment for our card games.

Neopolitan ice cream and cheese super ring snacks were served during the movie - The Kingdom.

Oh did I tell you that dinner was over in 20 minutes and then we cleaned the dining room and kitchen.

Tired.

Merry Christmas 2007.

WHATEVER

i hate that.

being sick on a public holiday.
because you have to accept excuse to stay at home for some stupid excuse.

i hate worms.

I was so furious when i receive a stupid email today. I thought I had a heart attack.

It really make me envy of Jin's working environment. A little bored but yet I can see that he is enjoying his work and at least, at least! there is less stupid people and not-cooperative-at-all colleagues.

It is the same thing for music band. If you think you are so talented and you deserve to take all the limelight. Go ahead and play alone or sing alone in the middle of the stage without sound system and lighting. For God sake we are designed to work as a team! I really don't understand why people can be so right about themselves and think that they can do it on their own. When it comes to mistakes they will just push all the responsibilities to dead objects like the guitar, like the microphone, or even the speaker! Make use of the brain and be a problem solver. Don't tell me all the problems because I am so sick of them and stop acting as if they are acceptable excuse and PLEASE start proposing solutions!

Say all you want to say but it is really hard to tolerate not-cooperative-at-all people. They are really UFO.

23+1

Alright, finally we're back. ;)

Jin did a summary on the whole incident. What I can say from the whole thing is God did a miracle. Thank you! Last few days have been tiring, but He has never failed to show us His hand upon us. I manage to spend more time with Jin's family and especially his mom and brother. She is very lovely and I think Jason has grown more matured. Seeing how he took care of auntie really made my heart melt. I think I am missing him a little already.

We came back on Friday morning because we had to work. We did the Macy's tradition of celebration for my birthday before off work and then Jin surprised me with a bouquet of pink roses when he came to fetch me after work. That is very sweet of him. We headed to Westin for a family dinner together with Greg and Jenn. It was a good one. and I guess it has been a loooooooong loooooooong time that we actually spend more than one hour for a dinner. Priceless moments. Thank you dear for making it an memorable birthday for me. Thanks to all your SMS-es. ;) (And yes, I'm not born in the zoo...)

Time is ticking. I am officially 23+1. I pray for another year of breakthrough.
