a rare monday blue
This 200 times 'cycling' almost killed me. I hardly feel my legs and arms.
This is only day 1 and the best thing is - the fiancée feels like having dinner in hakka village. NAIS!

Treasures I found at home
In less than 24 hours time, I'll be on my way home flying back to KL.
Just want to pen down something that I've learnt from Eitan. Something that I am still digesting and learning. I pray that it will be bless your heart too.
For the first few days while we are serving and Pastor is preaching in the conference, many of the times we spend and play with Eitan...or I would say Eitan is playing with the i-gadgets. One of the afternoon when we sent pastor, Esther and Eitan back to the hotel, Eitan was tired playing with the gadgets and a bit cranky.. He turned to Esther and said, "I am very sad...I don't have ipad...I don't have ipod.."
"Why do you always complain about things that you don't have? Why don't have you think about the toys that you have..." Esther told Eitan this. And it hit my heart.. I know it is a big lesson for me to learn.
I see Eitan in myself in that situation. Many times, I tend to see and look at what I don't have and what we don't have.
We complain about our parents.
We complain about having bad child hood.
We complain about the government.
We complaint about the church.
We complaint about the school.
We complain about our neighbors.
and the list goes on...
I think when we choose to have a beautiful spirit and be grateful over things we HAVE in our lives, God's grace and his mercy will fall upon us.

Just because dad and mom didn't have time to spend with us in the past...doesn't matter. We make time to just spend time with our old man..
Just because they didn't buy us things or couldn't afford in the past... doesn't matter. Learn to be a generous giver and honor them.
Let's love our parents.
Let's love others more than ourselves.
Let's love our church.
Let's love our leaders.

Gratitude..
Never under estimate how God can speak into our lives...
Today's message is great. Thought it was so specific and meant for me. I still remember when I was younger, I was always closer to my dad. But there was this rebellious period that I painted the "no smoking" sign and stick it next to the TV so that my dad can see it. He took it down and I drew and pasted it back again...man, it just take little things to break our father's heart...I was so blinded..
God is funny..He must know that I dislike driving (especially at night) so much...come to think about it, God always speak to me on my journey driving home. Today's journey home is amazing. I prayed for every single person in my cell groups. I am just so thankful for each and everyone of you.
You have changed so much.
You have a beautiful spirit.
You have a faithful heart.
You always go extra mile.
You helped me.
You understand me.
You guys just made my day..

Friday is so beautiful today. Woke up at 9:18am with my heart perfectly contented. Spent the while morning alone in the house talking to god is so good. With the long hours of sleep and this 2 hours of rest, I'm ready and exciting preparing for this great weekend. Life's good. Choose life!

the topic may always sound sinful in a malaysian context...but no, this is a healthy post..
recently i'm so into reading...food recipe and diet plan.
yes i'm very much convicted to live healthier after my DVT case.
partly also because the red color glass on jin's kitchen always attracts me to go and explore the fridge and kitchen environment.
i've been cooking asparagus and asparagus and asparagus. jin and i love it.
i can have fried asparagus alone for dinner happily to replace my love for rice.
just came through an article about cinnamon. it is good for me coz it has anti-clotting effect on the blood
gonna explore this and it shall be one of my breakfast one of these days...

I know I've probably written this for the third time but...yes, today we had our first meeting with staff of the new company. I feel really good... So the upcoming schedule would be..meeting contractor, some quick fix for floor/ceiling/lighting points, furniture shopping and wall painting very soon.
It's a busy week ahead. changing sermon 'coz we are expecting 2-3 new friends for this week's cg meeting. I am also charting out the acoustic guitar syllabus for my students. I guess the best way to learn is to teach what you have learnt I guess. So I am expecting to see 2 cg guitarists at the end of this 4 basic lessons.

Johnny
In my opinion, he is righteous, kind and generous. When I was young, mom used to say that he is very naive and trust people too easily. We may not have a lot, but he always give his very best to help his friends and family who are in need. Two of his business failed and now he is a school bus owner. The one beauitful thing about him is, he choose to live right and he keeps his heart pure. He did the lowliest things for the sake of his family. He protects, he provides and he sacrifices. Seeing him living his life taught and gave me the right values. The values of love, family, kindness, fear of god and money. He is real. Words aren't enough to express my love and admiration for him.

Generally I am better person for remembering dates as compared to the bf. But, to my surprise, I forgot about the anniversary two times..:S Jin was very sweet and bought the beg that I mentioned twice. And how I discovered the gift was half an hour before I cell group when I arrived his house earlier, there was a sudden stomach ache and I MUST go to the toilet. That's when I manage the open his room door which was locked, I saw the box was put nicely on his bed. Haha, sweet!
Had a blast in cg. I was nervous preaching in a big crowd :P And the guys complimented the cheese cake Jin made was as good as Secret recipe wooo....
