Buddies, we are aging!

Remember how we used to hear the dial up sound when you connect to 1515? Nowadays, I will only see "...Connected..Signal Strength: Excellent". 

In the past, house phone is always engaged when connected to Internet. Nowadays, nobody uses the house phone.

In the past, I used to write down my friend's contact number and address (as in I will write to them). Nowadays, I only remember some emergency numbers to call.

In the past, my parents used to stop by newspaper stall to buy newspaper to read. Nowadays, my mom will log on to thestar.com.my. Pat's dad is even funny, he said it is free and he can read 3 newspaper per day...

In the past, I look forward to go out to the mall during weekends. Nowadays, I can buy things online and get it to be delivered to my doorstep.

In the past, I only chat with my friends when we met in school/tuition. Nowadays, students can set up community blogs and get connected  247.

In the past, birthday cakes are boring. Nowadays, cup cakes are cooler than conventional birthday cakes.

In the past, we keep photo albums and autograph books. Nowadays, we blog it online and we leave a chatterbox next to it.

In the past, I keep a few dictionaries on my study table. Nowadays, I google it.

In the past, we buy birthday cards from Memory Lane. Nowadays, we put a comment online.

The list goes on and on and on..
