I'm Loving It

LOVE is in the air.

The weekend has been good. It has been a while we made it a point to do things together on our doing-things-together-Saturdays.

Jin suggested to visit the gym in the new house. Since he got muscle tear and so his plan was to just lift weights while I can do some cardio. But my butt muscles are still painful after my badminton session on Thursday. (also I can't wake up la... it's SATURDAY for God sake!!).

I finally had no choice but to wake up at 10am because the contractor will only be available until 11am. We went to select the wall tiles, floor tiles and then went over to the new house to receive the kitchen equipments. The company we bought the equipments from are quite messy but the boyfriend is just too nice compared to myself. He talked and explained very nicely and gently (which I am expecting the retailer to do that instead of the customer), and in the end, we went all the way to Setapak to settle the balance payment.

Things I really enjoyed the weekend with Jin:
1. Getting his shirts/tie/socks for work
2. Talking about the ex boyfriends and ex girlfriends
3. Went to pasar malam because I wanted to eat Banana to have better output in the toilet.

Monday is coming! I am waking up tomorrow at 5am. Tomorrow is Jin's first day of work. I am so excited!

A Day In My life

I've been skipping writing this for a while...it's time to keep it going.

Here it goes.

Today my top three priorities are: (since it is already 10:13pm now, I will write down my top three priorities for tomorrow)

1. To complete the finding report.
2. To ensure smooth running of the department.
3. To draft out the process and training.

All are work related. And I don't think all can be completed tomorrow. :)

Three words or phrases that describe me:

1. loved.
2. very real.
3. I am kind.

I am serious. Hahaha. I think I inherited all these from my dad (my mom is also a very nice person).

Three words or phrases others would use to describe me:

1. mean. too mean sometimes...especially with lazy people, liars and evil people.
2. funny
3. simple - a very nice way but some may think it's stupid.

I like myself most when: I did the right thing.

I like myself least when: I am not determined.

A new invention allows me to change one thing about myself. I decide to change: determination.

That change would make the following difference in my life:

1. Fit - because I will be determined to exercise.
2. Healthy - because I will say no to sinful food I like only and say yes to fruits and the green stuff.
3. I will have long hair. I like to get my hair cut.

One place I go to find peace: the (clean and safe) beach.

One activity that makes me happy: Just one? OK, being with the people I love.

One circumstance or person that consistently makes me so angry I might explode: I think should be people who take me for granted... If you know me, I am quite predictable.

One train of thought that brings me serenity in the midst of stress: To have a thankful heart.

Challenges I am currently experiencing that I have some control over: Work?

Challenges I am currently experiencing that I cannot control: Work also? It's OK, have a thankful heart.

Fly

I was already at the airport 1.5 hours before boarding. I was praying for good weather so that there will not be any delay or retime because it has been raining for the past two days. Thank God for a smooth journey. It is my second time traveling alone since last October, and actually I enjoy traveling alone (siting in the airplane alone) because it makes me think of my family and people I love. And there is always a funny thought what if the  plane....haha..

I love you mom. I love you dad. You know my dad is so lovely this afternoon. Normally he will leave the house after lunch around 3.30pm but today when mom and I reached home at 3pm, he was rushing into his bus and left. Mom saw that he was still munching food in his mouth when he left and was wondering why was he in a hurry. We went back into the house and manage to grab a quick bite before I left. On the dinner table, dad left a red packet on top of the plate.

To Laverne, from Dad.

It is a love message from dad.

Anyway, it was a safe journey. And it is rather a funny experience this time. I finished reading 2 magazines and played solitaire on my ipod until I win a game. Normally I only listen to the slow songs on my ipod, but I kept skipping the slow song and got really excited listening to some techno songs on the playlist. 2.5 hours passed very fast (especially with the techno songs). There was announcement that we are required to put on the seatbelt and prepare for landing. Normally, landing is pretty scary especially with the famous airline we're talking about here...but surprisingly, it landed VERY SMOOTH. Just when I was thinking to tell Jin later how cool the landing was, there was an announcement again in Malay..."Dear passengers, we have yet to land, please remain at your seat because we do not know we should land on the left or the right...thank you for your patience.."

...

Jin had cell group earlier so that he could end it earlier to come to airport and fetch me. Then we had catch up chatting at Sweetbean. Then Jin sent me home and we took the luggage up. It's true that anything that can go wrong, will go wrong... The grill was locked. And I don't have the key!!!! The very friendly neighbor next-next door looked out from his unit and so I tried my luck by borrowing his key hoping that it is the same...but it is not. Alright, I used to lock my brother outside the house once when he came back from work. So this is the pay back time.

Good night. It is my first day of work tomorrow.
